Vietnamese Swimming Data Analysis: The Need for Improvement from Missing Data

Data only tells a story, tactics begin from mistakes. In Vietnamese swimming, the Stage-2 analysis shows that all technical, performance, and competition system analyses cannot be conducted due to complete lack of core information. This is not a special case, but a general picture many analysts in the country are facing when approaching swimming data. As a swimming tactical analyst, I always emphasize that mistakes are not in the numbers, but in the lack of a skeletal framework to integrate data. Summer without football – or rather, without data – is when high pressing reveals the skeleton, but in Vietnamese swimming, that skeleton is still empty.
